Laurel Tropeano, LCSW, APHSW-C

For over 15 years, I've sat with people during the most vulnerable moments of their lives — as a palliative care social worker in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and homes. I've witnessed how illness, loss, and transition reshape a person's sense of self.

That experience led me here. I believe that over time and circumstance, we become separated from our intuition and inner wisdom. Psilocybin doesn't create something new — it amplifies what is already within you. In a safe and supportive setting, it creates the space for those answers to be heard again.

The Journey

A structured path, guided with care

Every engagement follows a clinically-informed process designed around your safety, comfort, and growth. There is no single "right" experience — we hold your intentions lightly, as inquiry rather than expectation, and let the process unfold.

1

Free Introduction

A free phone call to discuss your goals, answer questions, and determine if this work is a good fit for both of us.

2

Preparation

Two sessions to build rapport, discuss intentions, review your health history, and prepare you — mentally, emotionally, and practically — for the experience.

3

The Experience

A full day in a warm, quiet healing center — soft blankets, curated music, and my calm, steady presence throughout. You stay until you're ready.

4

Integration

Follow-up sessions to process what emerged and translate insights into your daily life. Not all realizations come during the session — some arrive quietly in the days and weeks that follow.

Participants described a renewed sense of connection — to themselves, to others, and to what matters most in their lives.

Is This For You?

It's less about what you're going through and more about how you want to meet it

People come to this work from many different places — grief, illness, life transitions, a sense of disconnection, or simply a feeling that something needs to shift. What they share isn't a diagnosis. It's a willingness to look inward and a curiosity about what might emerge when given the space.

You don't need to have everything figured out. You don't need to know exactly what you're looking for. You just need to be open to the possibility that something important is waiting to be heard.

The first step is a conversation.

The Research

Rooted in science, guided by experience

Psilocybin-assisted therapy is the subject of rigorous clinical investigation at institutions including Johns Hopkins University, NYU, Imperial College London, and the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus — where I facilitate sessions for three active clinical trials.

Early research suggests potential benefits for depression, anxiety, existential distress, and substance use disorders. While much work remains, the science is promising and growing.
